Why we built it
Born from adesigner's frustration
Before Hiding Elephant, co-founder Daniel Futerman ran the motion design studio Amigo Motion, where control over every creative detail mattered. When generative AI arrived, he loved how quickly it opened new directions but was frustrated by how hard it was to shape those ideas precisely.
That gap became the starting point for Hiding Elephant: pair AI's speed with the editing tools, brand context, and production workflows creative teams need to turn exploration into finished work.

When AI first hit the design world, it felt like the elephant in the room. Were we all getting replaced? Was it just a gimmick? Honestly, a lot of us were pretty conflicted about it.
That's exactly where our name came from. We didn't want to pretend those feelings weren't real. But we also knew we couldn't ignore where things were heading. We wanted to build something that actually respects how designers work.
Ellie, our elephant, is a reminder of that promise: powerful tools can still feel curious, calm, and human. Your taste, your eye, and your direction remain the things that matter most.
